Learn How to Make a 100s Chart for Kids

My 100s Chart Math

In this video, learn how to make a 100s chart and benefit from immediate numbers success by making learning visual. With My 100s chart, easy connections can be made between number symbols, amounts and names of numbers from 1 to 100.

In almost every Kindergarten classroom, you will find a 100s chart. The chart itself is often made of nylon. It is usually blue or yellow and has transparent plastic pockets to place numbers 1 to 100. Normally, after removing number cards empty pockets remain. As a former Kindergarten teacher, often making use of a conventional 100s charts, I discovered it was more child-friendly to have a corresponding background of number amounts, helping provide students more visual support. With this added feature, children can identify number symbols and number names with the help of number amounts.

With My 100s Chart you can achieve. In the accompanying image you can see an example of My 100s Chart attached to a fridge. Laminated number name and symbol cards have a small wedge of magnetic tape stuck to the back, sticking easily to the fridge.
